WoTLK is due out in the 3rd quarter of the year (Maybe early 4th). I have one high lvl toon just below 70 (He’s 66). Is there any reason to attempt to get to the 25 man content? I’ll probably try to run Kara, I’m currently doing the 5 man stuff in OL.
I bought WoW when Bliz came out with the “Battle-Chest” version of WoW – which included both WoW and TBC – This was like Oct. of 2007. I never experienced the expansion. However – I know that as I approached the jump to OL, I was advised to skip a lot of the old world stuff. I never ran Strath. I ran part of Strat. Obviously – I never touched the 40 man content. I went to OL and within 2 weeks had completely replaced my gear (Meaning 100% turnover – not just a few pieces)…
My guess is that there are a lot of people in my situation. I’m leaning toward just touching the outland content at end game, then getting my professions up to 375, then lvling an alt. I mean – I don’t feel like grinding or rushing into constant raids – just to have the content upgraded and my shiny new purples are now outclassed by WoTLK greens. I guess I sorta missed the boat. It would probably take a long time to get to Zul’ or Sunwell….
