OL Content - WoTLK in Late 2008

WoTLK is due out in the 3rd quarter of the year (Maybe early 4th). I have one high lvl toon just below 70 (He’s 66). Is there any reason to attempt to get to the 25 man content? I’ll probably try to run Kara, I’m currently doing the 5 man stuff in OL.

How to get on the TTR

The Tournament Test Realm or TTR is now live and it's where players can create up to three max-level (70) characters of any class and have a cool selection of epic gear. Some readers have written in about having a little trouble actually getting on the server itself. It's really a simple process, and we'll show you how. In order to access the TTR, you first have to download the PTR client on Blizzard's download page. You don't need to have copied any of your characters over to the test realms -- the TTR is a completely different realm with various armor and other item vendors located at each race's starting area. As long as you have the PTR client, you should be able to access the TTR (although all test realms are down as of this writing).

Why Blizzard doesnt change Sylvanas from NE to HE?

An Open Letter to Blizzard

For many years we of the Horde have suffered the leader of the Forsaken having an inappropriately energetic bounce when she stands still for too long. For years we were under the impression that this was merely a temporary placeholder until you were able to give her a more appropriate model, however once patch 2.0 was released this was no longer the case. The model is here, the textures are there to be used and there is absolutely no excuse to not do this any longer.

Let’s assume for a moment that I know something about programming.

A view of magic in world of warcraft

Magic is constant. People access magic in different ways, but it isn't "gone" after used. Once the spell ends, it returns to its natural state, be it from fire, shadow, frost, arcane, etc.

There isn't one fireball worth less magic in the world after my spell. My Muffin didn't cause a deficiency.

The only people to ever go insane because of magic were those that had it genecially imprinted into their system (elves). Aside from them, everyone else has been dandy.

World of Warcraft Gold Guide

Collecting Gold in World of Warcraft can be difficult. Starting with good tips and the proper techniques during the early stages of the game can go a long way.

World of Warcraft: bigger=better?

So seems pugs are impossible here(and no i wont name server, i think from talking to friends this is widespread since wows huge growth) pugs from gnomer up to ST, really any pre outland instance are laughable. Where once I remember people grouping up,everyone ready to go, everyones got any and all reagents and anything else they need. Most folks have all quests and understand the objectives. Now,its 30/45 minutes UNTIL first pull while people Richard around, quest, generally make rest of people wait. Then after instance run starts of course someone has to leave. OR My favorite "I only needed blah blah drop for a quest and/or wanted that bop drop, gotta go".

Why do you like play video games?

"I don't understand how you can continuously sit at a computer for multiple days without wanting to get up and do something else." More and more people are eager to play games, like World Of Warcraft. And they can play more than 12 hours a day with out interruption. Why is it so attractive?

Are there any experienced warrior tanks out there that might suggest how I could improve my setup

Looks pretty good so far, imo. Everyone has little differences in how they do things but here is my take....

I go by the rule of hitting 490 def, then start bumping other stats. Stam/Armor then avoidance. So, pretty much all my tank gear is gemmed with stam gems, either +9 if you cannot afford the elune, but I would go with +12.

You are revered with Keepers of Time, get the Timewarden's Leggings »www.wowhead.com/?item=29184 , socket with +12 stam, they will last you until Curator drops your legs.

This group really seems to know KZ well

This group really seems to know KZ well, so I'll ask this here: What target should we do after Curator? We downed him last weekend for the first time, and suddenly our RL seemed to think we could do anything. However, honestly, we got lucky and people finally clicked. We wiped ~10 times, although this was our first run at him, and threw about 1k in pots into the attempt. We scrambled together, finally pulled off the win, then easily won the chess game, and then tried Illhoof and got smoked.

I see no reason to avoid the chess game (do you even die if you lose?) since it's simple enough, but what target is the "easiest" skill wise after Curator? After 6 attempts on Illhoof, I bowed out of the raid due to time and they ran Shade a few times to no avail.

I had a couple of 60's long ago.

Not really new I guess, I had a couple of 60's long ago. I haven't played in more than a year and just picked WoW up again.

I went to a new server with some friends from work. I work and am married so I want to just play one toon now. I went with a Blood Elf pally because I've never seen the BE starting area or ever touched a Pally.

Seriously, I'm going to get a bout 15-20 hours a week to play at most, mostly in 1-2 hour spurts. Probably 95% of the time I'm going to be solo. A pally seems like it should solo well (I hope).
